General.
I first discovered my lifelong love of making sculpture as an art form at Art College in York in 1972. Later study took me to Coventry, Leeds and Sheffield Universities.
Along the way I have also worked as
A fine art lecturer. I have taught Fine Art at Art Colleges in Middlesbrough, Canterbury, Leeds and Hull.
An art therapist.
An exhibition designer for the museums service.
A graphic designer for a local authority.
A self employed ceramic designer and mould maker.
A gallery propriator.
As well as several other non art related jobs.

Exhibitions.
I have exhibited my work continuously since 1976 and have shown in both group and solo shows widely including areas of Kent, The Midlands, yorkshire and tyneside.
My work has also been seen in London, Germany, Belgium and the U.S.A.

I have undertaken residencies.
I have also been the recipient of several awards.

I do not hold with the idea that only well known people do anything worth while.
I do not bother to keep track of every artistic activity I take part in - if it was interesting, rewarding or significant to me I can remember it.
